People have different wishes. Some wishes never come true while others do. Here is the story of a boy who had a lot of wishes in his childhood but only a single wish came true. He wanted to buy a bicycle but he did not have enough money. He had to learn kung-fu and boxing but his father did not allow him because he wanted him to focus on his studies only. He wanted to play in the streets but his mother asked him to stay away from street friends. She told him that street friends might not be good and he would learn abusive language if he spent time with them. He was interested to travel another country and he luckily got a chance when he made a speech in his school and was selected for an international competition. His school sent him to England for a speech competition. Therefore, we should struggle hard to work on our communication and other extra skills other than studies.
a) What kind of wishes of the boy never came true?
b) What’s your most favourite wish?
c) Why did the mother stop the kid playing outside the home?
d) How did his wish to go abroad came true?
