Preposition is used to show position or direction of a noun. For example, to school, in school, at school, about home, for home, with home etc. How these prepositions are used, lets discuss below. Use of IN

Tell the child to use this word to tell if something is in something. Like water is in the glass, the glass is in the kitchen, the kitchen is in the house, the house is in Lahore, Lahore is in Pakistan. In this context, let the child think about what is in what. Then ask him different questions, for example tell him about the things that are in the room. Or ask him to write down the names of 20 of his friends and cousins and imagine which cousin is in which city or country.• Book is in the room.

This word indicates the direction of something in relation to being on top of another thing. Like a table is on the ground, a book is on the table, a glass is on the book, a lid is on the glass. Have the child make more examples on the same pattern.• The table is on the ground.

Use of WITH

Tell the child that WITH is used to show two things together. That is, I am with Abu. It can be visible and can also be in an opinion. Like I’m with you on that point.
